How I Got Started

I got started riding quads when I was two years old. I rode around my grandparents house, my grandpa's shop and the Oceano Dunes. I wanted to race, but my mom and dad said I had to get a little bigger. My dad raced flat track and I wanted to be just like him.

When I turned four I began my racing career. My first race was in Caruthers, California. I raced my quad for one season, then I moved to a Honda XR50. I stayed on the Honda for one season and then I needed more power. I moved to the KTM SX50SR for the 2006 season and a KTM SX50JR for the 2007 season. In 2008 I jumped to a King Cobra 50 for more horsepower. In 2009 I will move to a Kawasaki KX65 and a whole new class. It has been a learning process, but I love the power that my 65 has!

My dad, Joey, also races flat track. He is an open expert and teaches me how to "go fast." My grandpa came out of a 30-year retirement to start racing. He rides a TT 500 that he built himself. I can't wait to race them both one day because I know I will win. I also have two brothers, Jeremy and Andrew, who have racing in their blood. Jeremy started racing on a quad in 2008, but will move to the XR50 in '09. We plan on taking the 50 and 65 title in the West Coast Dirt Track Series. Next to the Hayden brothers, we are the fastest brothers you will find!

My favorite tracks are Lodi and Willow Springs. I love to go fast and like the big tracks. I look forward to the 2009 season and the new class that it brings. It's all about training to make a run for the National Title in DuQuoin, Illinois in 2010!
